Instant Pot Class and Demo!

I joined the Instant Pot craze a few years ago with a majority of the population! I had a few fails. Then I put my pot in the pantry behind the bread maker and decided I was just not good at the Instant Pot.

At one point I even tried to cook a lovely roast for some guests. Let’s just say we went to Costa Vida instead!!

When Heidi and I talked about doing a class I realized there was maybe hope for me!

Heidi sent me one of the recipes to cook up so that I could get some pictures taken of the recipe. I shopped with anticipation. Maybe – just maybe – I could make this work this time!

I prepped all the ingredients at the house and than packed up my Instant Pot and headed down to the studio. I followed some very simple instructions. Starting with the “brown” feature on my pot.

After the browning was done, I added the rest of the ingredients and sealed the lid up tight!

I set the cook timer and walked away while I swept and mopped the studio floor. When the time went of I timidly walked back to my Instant Pot and pushed the “release” button. When I opened up the pot the smells and sights that I saw made me wonder why I hadn’t used my pot before!! SUCCESS!!!!

And of course it tasted as good as it looked! Guess what?! This is one of the recipes we cooked during our last Instant Pot Class! We all got to sample this delicious soup!

Zoom Class!

This class will be held differently than any other class we’ve held. When you register you’ll get an invite to a zoom meeting!

Our teacher will be in the kitchen at the studio and you’ll be in your homes. We’ll send out a shopping list so you can grab the ingredients. We will also provide instructions for prep work that needs to be done prior to the class! Then you’ll join the zoom meeting so you can ask questions of our instructor real time!

This change allows us to have MORE students in class instead of LESS students! We will cap it at 20 just to be able to keep things organized in the zoom call!

Heidi is a lab coordinator and adjunct instructor in the nutrition department at Weber State University. Heidi loves spending time with her family. She and her husband have 2 beautiful little boys and reside in Brigham City.

I know you will love her as much as I do!
