The Taylor Family!

It is absolutely no secret the amount of time and work and money that has gone into the renovations of this beautiful old space. On days that I am stressing about lease payments and sheetrock and paint colors I let myself forget the dream that I had almost 18 months ago when I first saw this space.

Then I have one of my dear friends come to visit me for a session in the studio and we laugh and we giggle and we make beautiful images of her family.

Her kids make me smile and things get a little crazy and a little adorable!

White room

As I sit amongst the gorgeous chaos I take a glance at this space I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and happiness. The white walls, the lights, the beautiful bed and, most of all, the natural light that pours into this room.

These are the reasons that I love this room!! Then when I get to bring in my amazing friends and clients and they love it too – that is the icing to the cake!

If you were to ask me what the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life is. Without hesitation I would answer “Restoring a 3,000 square foot maternity wing of a 1930’s hospital”! However if you were to ask me what the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done is I’d answer “Marrying my engineer, giving birth to my 5 children AND restoring a 3,000 square foot maternity wing of a 1930’s hospital”!

Thank you dear friend Jen for allowing me a moment of giggling to help me relax and take a step back!

Your family is adorable and your friendship is so important to me! Thank you for enjoying my space!!
